US independent Pioneer Natural Resources is reducing its workforce in an effort to save on overhead costs as the company transitions into a pure play Permian player.
Pioneer said it will reduce its total headcount by 25% targeting a $100 million reduction in costs “in order to remain competitive with our peers and to better align the organisation to that of a single-asset company.”
