Pioneer Natural Resources of the US has posted record production from its acreage in the Permian basin, and the company believes its completion optimisation programme could boost flows from individual wells by 35% or more.
Texas-based Pioneer’s production grew 3% over the fourth quarter of 2015 to 222,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and exceeded previous guidance of 211,000 to 216,000 boepd.
