Gas production from the Panna Mukta Tapti fields was hit on 19 February after a leak on a subsea valve on Oil&Natural Gas Corporation's (ONGC) pipeline system caused pressure in the PMT facilities to fall, thereby decreasing gas production.
"It is understood that the gas supply had been reduced due to some technical problem in the subsea facilities resulting in partial force majeure being declared by the PMT consortium," Gail said.
