The supermajor has issued a pre-qualification request for pipe coating services for what it calls the Yoho FSO Pipeline Option project.
It is understood that the ageing, turret-moored FSO — previously deployed by Total off Congo-Brazzaville before being converted for work at Yoho in 2002 — could be replaced by an oil pipeline.
Located in OML 104, the project may have an overall price tag of more than $300 million, suggested a source.
