The pipeline is operated by Gazprom-led Sakhalin Energy, which uses it to ship gas from the offshore Lunskoye field to its liquefied natural gas plant in the port of Prigorodnoye in the south of the island.
A department of the Far Eastern Arbitration court in the city of Vladivostok ruled this week that two earlier decisions by lower-level arbitration courts in Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on the matter should be cancelled.
