The contract is to install and commission a 28-inch, 48-kilometre pipeline and a 24-inch, 38-kilometre pipeline to link two new platforms at Platong 2 and Greater Bongkot South to PTT’s Third Transmission Pipeline.
The reason for the re-tender remains unclear, though sources said earlier submitted bids may have been accompanied by too many qualifications.
PTT is expected to extend the re-tender to contractors involved in the last bid round.
