Posco Daewoo and its partners have plans for four development phases at the Shwe field off Rakhine (Arakan) state in Myanmar.
Phase one involved the now-producing Shwe and Mya (Emerald) North fields.
Phase two is Mya South, and this will be followed by development of the Shwe Phyu (Platinum) field in phase three.
Meanwhile, phase four will involve compression facilities to help maintain gas production.
Earlier targets envisaged first gas from Shwe Phyu in the second quarter of 2021, with Mya South coming on stream in the following year.
