Horizon has a significant presence in Western Province through its interests in the Stanley, Elevala-Ketu-Tingu and Ubuntu gas and condensate discoveries.
The company is spearheading an attempt to develop its gas resources as feedstock for a mid-size LNG scheme with a plant located at Daru Island, but the December 2016 proposal by state-owned Kumul Petroleum of an open access pipeline called the Western Pipeline has its support.
