Oil Search has confirmed the development agreement for the P'nyang gas project in Papua New Guinea is being targeted for signing in late 2019 to help meet the nation's liquefied natural gas ambitions, writes Russell Searancke.
The ExxonMobil-led P'nyang project and the Total-operated Papua LNG project are planned as the gas feedstock for three new LNG trains at the existing PNG LNG facility, also operated by ExxonMobil.
