First Generation and PNOC are in discussions over a possible joint venture for the proposed LNG terminal at Batangas on the main island of Luzon.
“They are in talks with PNOC... if we can speed up the implementation of the project or if they [PNOC] can help, we are open to that,” said Energy Secretary Zenaida Monsada.
However, she cautioned that no deal had yet been reached.
