State-run Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with yet another international player for potential liquefied natural gas import projects.

The latest MoU was signed last week with China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Corporation, a subsidiary of state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation.

The agreement is for the companies “to jointly pursue LNG, refinery and oil depot projects all over the country”, said PNOC without giving further details.
