US player Sempra Energy has signed up with Polish Oil & Gas Company (PGNiG) to supply it with liquefied natural gas from the Port Arthur LNG export facility proposed in Texas.
Port Arthur LNG, a subsidiary of Sempra, and PGNiG struck a definitive 20-year sale-and-purchase agreement covering 2 million tonnes per annum of LNG – enough natural gas to meet about 15% of Poland's daily requirement.
