Thailand's political impasse has cast a shadow over the country's oil and gas industry, with new projects facing potential delays even though its national oil company has downplayed the impact on its operations.
A PTTEP spokesperson maintained that the state-owned field operator "[does] not foresee any major constraint in the short-term" as business is as usual.
However, government approvals have been slow in coming for new mid- to upstream projects on PTTEP and its parent company PTT's agenda, according to sources.
