Posco International is about to embark on a three-well deep-water exploration drilling campaign near its Shwe gas and condensate field off Myanmar, writes Russell Searancke.
The South Korean operator, which until this March was known as Posco Daewoo, has just contracted the seventh-generation drillship Maersk Viking for the programme which will begin before the end of this year, said the rig’s owner Maersk Drilling.
