The Aberdeen-based company's profit before tax stood at $83 million for the year ending 31 December, compared with $114.7 million in 2002.
This figure, based on revenues that rose almost 15% to $1.99 billion, would have been better but Wood Group was forced to take a $13.8 million charge on its investment in UK offshore logistics company Asco in which it no longer has any "significant influence".
