The problem surfaced in the second quarter of this year, and Premier suggested at the time that production rates, particularly gas, had been hit by unplanned downtime of the Lewek Emas FPSO’s power facilities.
The FPSO is owned by Singapore-based Emas Offshore Construction.
Premier said in its latest results that it intends to solve the problem by installing retrofit power generators, and that this would help increase production.
