Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has made two new onshore natural gas discoveries in the nation's Sindh province, which the operator said will help to alleviate the supply-demand gap during the current energy crisis in Pakistan, writes Amanda Battersby.

The sidetracked Hadaf X-1 wildcat flowed at a rate of 18.6 million cubic feet per day of gas and 160 barrels per day of condensate with 65 bpd of water at a flowing wellhead pressure of 1307 psi on a 56/64-inch choke, according to the company.
