Pre-front-end engineering and design work is well advanced on the three new liquefied natural gas trains to be built in Papua New Guinea for the Elk-Antelope and P'nyang gas fields.
Sources said Chiyoda has been heavily involved in the "downstream pre-FEED" work so far. The Japanese engineering house was the main contractor for the two foundation trains at the existing PNG LNG project.
