Qatar Petroleum (QP) has begun pre-qualification for a key engineering, procurement and construction contract involving the offshore facilities required for phase 1B of its multi-billion dollar Bul Hanine offshore redevelopment project in Qatar.
Sources said that QP invited expressions of interest this week from several engineering, procurement and construction contractors.
“We have just received the pre-qualification document and contractors have been asked to submit their responses by 10 October,” a source from one of the interested players told Upstream.
