The vessel had been chartered by Oilexco North Sea, the original Shelley operator, for use on the dormant project but Premier re-evaluated that deal when it conditionally acquired Oilexco North Sea last month.
The deal covers the continued provision and operation of the floating production, storage and offloading vessel if Premier finalises either its acquisition of Oilexco North Sea or of the Shelley field.
