The company — a 60:40 Brazilian joint venture between Spanish oil company Repsol and Chinese player Sinopec — is on the verge of starting a three-well appraisal campaign at Pao de Acucar with the drillship Ocean Rig Mylos.
The rig was equipped with a new blowout preventer and managed pressure drilling systems to spud the Pao de Acucar-2 well in Block BM-C-33.
