Investigations are under way after a UK North Sea floating production unit lost tension in its anchor lines during heavy storms last week.
Production remains shut in from the Petrojarl Banff floating production, storage and offloading vessel, owned and operated by Teekay Petrojarl on behalf of Canadian operator CNR International.
A loss of tension in two of the unit’s anchor lines was reported at about midday on 3 January, CNR said.
