BP is happy with progress it has made so far in early work on its Mad Dog 2 development in the deep-water US Gulf, writes Kathrine Schmidt.
The UK supermajor already has its major contracts in place with Samsung Heavy Industries for the floating production unit, OneSubsea for subsea production systems and Subsea 7 for the installation of subsea equipment and the floating production unit.
