Prysmian Group has won a contract from France's Total to supply 19 kilometres of thermoplastic umbilicals for the Lapa development in Brazil’s Santos basin.
The umbilicals will be supplied from Prysmian’s plant at Vila Velha, according to Jeferson Werlich, the company’s global sales manager for subsea contracts.
Delivery is set for August, with an option for logistics to be carried out through the Acu Port complex.
