The Thai operator — headed by chief executive Tevin Vongvanich — is understood to have planned to commission a flow assurance study for three groups of fields earmarked under the Cash-Maple floating liquefied natural gas project.
As well as determining the gas pressure required to achieve the optimum flow rate, the results from the study could influence the concept selection and, more importantly, if and when the Cash-Maple FLNG project will move into FEED.
