Thailand's PTTEP has approached the market in search of a semi-submersible drilling rig for a campaign on Myanmar's Block M-9 in the Gulf of Moattama (Martaban) about 300 kilometres south-west of the commercial capital Yangon, writes Xu Yihe.
Sources said the Thai national upstream company has already issued bid documents for the provision of the semisub that is intended to drill six wells starting in May 2020.
