The purchase increases PTTEP’s stakes in the Sinphuhorm onshore project, where it will become operator and in the Contract 4 project offshore that includes the producing Pailin and Ubon fields.
The Contract 4 gas project in the Gulf of Thailand currently produces about 387 million cubic feet per day of gas and 17,528 barrels per day of condensate and has proven and probable reserves of 461 million barrels of oil equivalent.
