Lead contractor Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries issued a letter of intent to Punj Lloyd to undertake civil and mechanical works for the third LNG storage tank and further expansion requirements at the facility. The construction work, which is expected to start in February, will take 33 months to complete.
Punj Lloyd was IHI´s sub-contractor for the civil and mechanical works, construction and installation of the first two 148,000 cubic-metre storage tanks at Dahej.
