COLOMBIA’s oil and gas regulator is pushing for more offshore activity after no new wells were drilled in the sector in 2018, writes Julia Martinez.
The National Hydrocarbons Agency said it expects to sign off on nine exploration contracts in the coming weeks, following recently approved changes to the contract model that include an additional 5% royalty for the state when contracts are extended.
