In the past few days, several key industry players have made reference to a decision by Qatar LNG producers RasGas and Qatargas to withdraw the Q-Flex, which they have previously been offering in the spot market.
"They are heading back to Qatar to load [and will then]be used as floating storage over the winter," said one broker.
However, others watching vessel-position lists reported that the ships are still available for the trades Qatar wishes to pursue.
