Qatargas has issued a tender for the balance of work to be carried out on a new offshore living quarters platform for its North Field Bravo facility off Qatar, writes Nishant Ugal.
Project-watchers claimed that Qatargas recently issued tender documents to at least four leading offshore contractors covering the remaining work on the accommodation facility project.
Italy’s Rosetti Marino was last year awarded a contract from Qatargas for the living quarters platform, but the offshore contractor has been seeking a higher price from the Qatargas, due to changes in contractual terms.
