Qatar Petroleum (QP) is close to awarding a pre-front engineering design contract for a redevelopment plan involving its multi-billion dollar Bul Hanine and Maydan Mahzam offshore oilfields expansion project.
Multiple industry told Upstream that the chase for the prestigious pre-FEED contract is thought to have narrowed down to just two players, with UK-based Wood said to be battling it out with Norway’s Aker Solutions.
