Australian operator Quadrant Energy has confirmed it will drill three wells with the semi-submersible GSF Development Driller-I, and has increased its interests in two stranded gas discoveries, writes Josh Lewis.
It was already known that Quadrant would use the semisub to drill the Phoenix South-3 appraisal well early next year, and a Quadrant spokesperson confirmed the company also intends to use the rig to drill two infill wells at the Van Gogh oilfield off Western Australia.
