The group came together to bid for the main topsides fabrication and integration contract for the giant Petrobras P-53 floating production unit under a tender handled by a special-purpose company set up by ABN Amro bank on behalf of the oil company.
The unit, with 180,000 barrels per day of crude processing capacity, will be deployed on the Marlim Leste field.
