North Dakota reported new highs for the state's oil and gas production for August as drilling activity in the US state increased during that month, writes Caroline Evans.
The second-largest oil producing state posted crude output of 1.48 million barrels per day in August compared to 1.46 million bpd in July, according to preliminary figures from the North Dakota Industrial Commission's Department of Mineral Resources (DMR).
