Industry sources said Reliance floated expressions of interest last month covering more rigs and associated services for the two Sohagpur CBM blocks, SP(West)-CBM-2001/1 and SP(East)-CBM-2001/1.
Sources said Reliance is likely to hire three to four additional units, although the operator has not yet specified a specific number.
Responses to the expressions of interest are expected this month with a tender to follow, sources said.
