Reliance Industries has extended the submission deadline until middle of this month for bids to supply a floating production, storage and offloading vessel for its $2 billion-plus MJ deep-water gas and condensate project off India's east coast.

Two industry sources told Upstream that technical and commercial offers for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the FPSO were expected to be submitted last month, but Reliance has delayed the submission until 15 October.
