Wintershall Noordzee has suspended a front-end engineering and design tender process on its Rembrandt-Vermeer project off the Netherlands due to concerns about the development’s economics.
German player Wintershall and Gazprom, its Russian partner in the Wintershall Noordzee joint venture, were set to award a FEED contract last month for the project facilities for which the centre-piece is a novel steel gravity-base structure (GBS).
