Drilling is scheduled for next May on the Amanah Timur well that will test the earlier named as the Paya Bili prospect.

The operator has prepared bid documentation and has held meetings with contractors targeting a spud date in May 2016.

The shallow well, which is expected to cost around $2 million, will test a well-defined anticline that has existing shallow oil reservoirs that produced approximately 200,000 barrels before the Second World War.
