Repsol has confirmed that it has hired a Valaris-owned jack-up to support ongoing work at its Yme field off Norway where a redevelopment project is under way.
The Valaris JU-290, formerly the Rowan Viking, has been chartered from September to assist in hook-up and pre-commissioning of a new wellhead module to be installed at the North Sea field, according to a spokesman for the Spanish operator.
