Repsol could finally spud its long-delayed Anggun oil wildcat on the East Jabung production sharing contract onshore Sumatra in Indonesia as early as next month, writes Amanda Battersby.
The Spanish operator has lined up a rig for the Anggun-1X exploration well and was due to hold a pre-well meeting in Jakarta on 11 July. The aim now is to mobilise the land rig between 25 July and 2 August and spud the well between 24 August and 11 September.
