Stolt Offshore, which also built the Girassol towers at the Sonamet facility in Lobito it jointly owns with Sonangol, is working up the design for a single tower for BP's development on block 18.
This work comes within the $730 million SURF (subsea ubilicals, risers and flowlines) contract awarded by BP in February to a consortium of Stolt Offshore and Technip.
