Rockhopper recently opened a data room as it seeks farm-in partners to develop its Sea Lion find off the Falkland Islands.
The Sunday Times reported that UK independent Cairn is in talks with Rockhopper over farming in to the acreage or making a bid for the company, while the UK’s Premier Oil and US-based Noble Energy are also among potential suitors.
