Singaporean offshore contractor Sembcorp Marine expects to post a net loss in 2019 similar in scale to last year's loss of around S$78.4 million (US$57.2 million) due to a dearth of new orders, writes Amanda Battersby.
“Our key priority is building up our order book. We have been actively responding to an increasing pipeline of tenders and enquiries for various engineering solutions and projects related to the production and gas value chain segments, as well as in specialised shipbuilding projects,” said Sembmarine chief executive Wong Weng Sun.
