Sources close to the process suggested the UK’s Rolls Royce has moved into pole position, edging out competing bids from GE (Nuovo Pignone), Siemens and Dresser Rand. The contract includes four turbo-generators for each floating production, storage and offloading vessel, each of which will provide 150,000 barrels per day of production capacity.
