Russia's Rosneft has held public hearings on plans to resume drilling on a second offshore block, East Prinovozemelsky, in the Kara Sea following the abrupt termination of exploration efforts on the first block in 2014, writes Vladimir Afanasiev.
During hearings in the town of Dudinka in East Siberia, Rosneft said the exploration well may be drilled by a semi-submersible rig during the ice-free summer season of 2020 or 2021.
