CareerCast.com ranked roustabout for the energy industry as the worst job in the US.
After reviewing 200 jobs in five categories — physical demands, work environment, income, stress, and hiring outlook — roustabout supplanted lumberjack as the least desirable way to make a living.
“In particular, roustabout was hurt by poor rankings for physical demands (198th) and work environment (194th),” the site says.
