Floating production contractor Rubicon Offshore has won its legal action against Singapore-headquartered independent KrisEnergy, writes Amanda Battersby.
The action related to an October 2014 charter agreement between the companies for the Rubicon Vantage floating production, storage and offloading vessel to be deployed on the operator’s Wassana oilfield off Thailand.
Rubicon had filed a claim in the High Court of Justice Business & Property Courts of England & Wales in relation to a guarantee made by KrisEnergy as guarantor to secure the performance of its obligations to Rubicon under the bareboat charter.
