Russian authorities have promised to provide full support to France's Total if the company decides to exercise its option to buy an additional 5% stake in the Arctic LNG 2 project on Russia's Gydan Peninsula, writes Vladimir Afanasiev.
According to Russian Federal anti-monopoly service FAS, Total will “only have to inform” authorities that it is increasing its stake in the liquefied natural gas project to 15%.
