Russian students Ksenia Sherbakova and Tatiana Kruglikova are set for internships at German player Wintershall after landing this year’s Young Vision Award.
The students of Sergo Ordzhonikidze Russian State University for Geological Prospecting in Moscow won this year’s competition, sponsored by Wintershall and Russia’s Gazprom International, with their research project “Environmentally Safe Offshore Platforms”.
The women held off competition from three other teams from Croatia, Austria and Russia at the competition finals, held at Montanuniversitat Leoben in Austria.
